Entrust Terms & Conditions

Liability Release:

The Client acknowledges that while the Provider’s team is experienced and diligent in the care of pets and homes, unforeseen circumstances may occur. Therefore, the Client hereby agrees to release and discharge the Provider and its employees from any and all liabilities, claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including attorney fees) that may arise from any harm, injury, or damage to the Client’s pets, property, or any third party during the term of this Contract.

The Client agrees to indemnify and hold the Provider harmless from any claims made by third parties arising from the Client’s pets’ behavior or any damage caused by the pets while under the care of the Provider.

Cancellation Policy:

The Client may cancel or reschedule services by providing a minimum of 1 Day (24 Hours) notice in writing. If the Client fails to provide the required notice, a cancellation fee of 20% will be charged.

Payment and Terms:

The Client agrees to pay the Provider the agreed-upon fee for the services provided. Payment is due in full before services commence. The Client understands that no refunds will be given for services already rendered.

 

 

  1. Emergency Contact Information: The Client will provide the Provider with accurate and up-to-date emergency contact information, including the names and contact details of neighbors, family members, or friends who can be reached in case of an emergency involving the home.
  2. Health and Vaccination Requirements: Ensuring the well-being of all pets under our care is of paramount importance. To maintain a safe environment for our clients’ pets and our dedicated team, we require that all pets be up-to-date on vaccinations and in good health. Clients are kindly requested to provide proof of vaccinations and any relevant medical records to ensure the health and safety of their furry companions during our service.
  3. Behavioral Assessment: At Entrust Pet & Home Services, we prioritize the safety and happiness of all pets. Before accepting any pet for services, we conduct a thorough behavioral assessment to ensure a positive and comfortable experience for both the pet and our employees. This practice helps us tailor our care approach, enhancing the overall quality of service.
  4. Home Inspection and Condition: The Provider agrees to conduct a t inspection of the Client’s home upon commencement of the house sitting service. Any pre-existing damages or issues will be documented, and the Client will be promptly notified. The Client acknowledges that the house is in good condition at the start of the service.
  5. Home Maintenance and Repairs: The Provider will make every reasonable effort to maintain the home in the condition it was found at the beginning of the house sitting service. However, the Provider is not responsible for any general maintenance, repairs, or improvements required during the service period, unless explicitly agreed upon in a separate written agreement.
  6. Utilities and Appliances: The Client will ensure that all essential utilities (e.g., electricity, water, heating, cooling) and appliances necessary for the functioning and security of the home are in proper working order before the Provider’s service commences.
  7. Key and Alarm Code Handling: Our commitment to security extends to the handling of your keys and alarm codes. We implement strict procedures to safeguard your keys and alarm codes, ensuring they are securely stored and never associated with any personal identification. At the end of the service period, we promptly return all keys and delete any alarm codes from our system to maintain the highest level of privacy and security.
  8. Confidentiality and Privacy: Confidentiality is a core value at Entrust Pet & Home Services. Any information shared by our clients regarding their home, pets, or personal details is treated with the utmost respect and held in strict confidence. Rest assured that your privacy is of importance to us, and we will never disclose any sensitive information to any third party.
  9. Photographs and Social Media: Your trust is central to our partnership, and we deeply value your privacy. Before using any photographs or images of your pets or home for promotional or marketing purposes on our website or social media platforms, we will seek written consent from you. This ensures that you have complete control over the sharing of any visuals related to your beloved pets and home.
  1. Force Majeure: While we strive to provide reliable services at all times, circumstances beyond our control may occasionally arise. In the event of unforeseeable situations such as natural disasters or other force majeure events, we will promptly communicate with you to discuss any necessary changes to the service plan, ensuring your pets and home continue to receive the best possible care.
  2. Emergency Situations: In the event of an unforeseen emergency, such as a fire, natural disaster, or any other situation that poses an immediate threat to the client’s property or safety, the house sitter will prioritize the following actions:
  3. Contact Emergency Services: The house sitter will promptly contact the local emergency services (fire department, police, etc.) to report the situation and request appropriate assistance.
  4. Notify the Client: The house sitter will make every effort to contact the client or the designated emergency contact provided by the client to inform them of the emergency situation.
  5. Pet Safety: If pets are under the house sitter’s care, their safety will be prioritized. The house sitter will follow any emergency procedures or evacuation plans provided by the client and ensure the pets are safely relocated, if necessary.
  6. Document the Situation: The house sitter will document the emergency situation, including any damage to the property, actions taken, and communications made, and provide a report to the client as soon as possible.

Emergency Pet Procedures: In the event of a medical emergency involving the Client’s pets, the Provider will make every effort to contact the Client and follow any specific instructions provided. If the Client cannot be reached, the Provider is authorized to seek veterinary care for the pets. The Client will be responsible for any veterinary expenses incurred, and the Provider will retain all receipts for reimbursement.

  1. Cancellation by Provider: Your satisfaction and the well-being of your pets are our primary goals. In rare cases where the behavior of a pet poses a safety risk to our team or other animals, or if we receive false or misleading information that may impact our ability to provide optimal care, we reserve the right to cancel or terminate services. We will always prioritize open communication and work together to find the best solution for your pets’ welfare.

Governing Law:

This Contract shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Washington State, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
